Résumé
The Stirling co-generator studied here is motorized by a free-piston Stirling engine. Its piston, which has an alternative linear motion, is the secondary (i.e. rotor) of a linear induction generator. In this paper, a method is proposed to synthesize a controller for the Stirling engine that ensures robust stability despite noise disturbances and parametric uncertainties in the plant model. The key idea is to use a RST controller with a sensitive pole placement.
