Curriculum
Pierre-Yves Joubert est agrégé en Génie Electrique (1994), titulaire du DEA Electronique Capteurs et Circuits Intégrés (1995), Docteur en électronique (1999), et Habilité à Diriger des Recherches (2010). Il a été Maître de conférences à l'ENS de Cachan (2000-2011) et responsable de l'équipe Traitement de l'Information et Multicapteurs (TIM) du laboratoire (2007-2011). Depuis septembre 2011, il est Professeur à l'Université de Paris Sud (IUT de Cachan), membre de l'Institut d'Electronique Fondamentale (Univ. Paris Sud, UMR CNRS 8622) et chercheur associé à SATIE.

Thèmes de Recherche
Imagerie pour l'évaluation non destructive des milieux artificiels et naturels : Ses centres d'intérêt en recherche sont la conception et la mise en œuvre de systèmes d'imagerie pour l'évaluation non destructive par méthodes inductives (courants de Foucault). Dans ce domaine, il s'intéresse en particulier à la conception de systèmes instrumentaux avancés, tels que les systèmes multicapteurs ou les imageurs à traduction magnéto optique, et à leur élaboration. Il s'intéresse également au problème de la modélisation des interactions imageur / cible, et à la résolution du problème inverse, dont l'objet est de remonter aux grandeurs physiques de la cible inspectée à partir des données expérimentales fournies par les systèmes d'imagerie. Depuis 2011, il s'intéresse également à l'imagerie des milieux naturels (tissus) par méthode inductive (capteurs radio-fréquences). L'ensemble de ses travaux est mené dans une approche "système".
