Curriculum
Né en 1964, Hamid BEN AHMED est habilité à diriger les recherches de l'Université Paris 11 Orsay (2006) et docteur en Sciences Physiques de l’Université Paris VI (1994). Il enseigne dans le domaine du traitement et de la conversion de l’énergie électrique dans le département de MECATRONIQUE de l’ENS de Cachan – Antenne de Bretagne (campus de Ker Lann) dans le cadre notamment de la préparation des agrégations de GE (ex. B4), de mécanique (B1) et de Génie mécanique (B3). Il assure également le cours de "conception et optimisation de systèmes électromagnétiques" au sein des Masters Recherche 2 d'Ile-de-France (ENSC, Paris 11, SUPELEC) et de l'Université de Nantes. Les activités de recherche de M. BEN AHMED se déroulent dans l'équipe SETE du laboratoire SATIE. Ses activités tournent autour de deux axes principaux : Le premier concerne la conception, la modélisation et l’optimisation de dispositifs électromagnétiques non conventionnels. Le second axe est relatif à l’étude des systèmes de production d’énergie électriques multi-sources (dimensionnement, optimisation et gestion des flux de puissance). Il est par ailleurs co-responsable de d'un certain nombre de contrats de recherche et projets ANR (PSA, Valeo, Somfy,...). Il participe au GDR SEEDS pôle « Transport », par l'animation de la thématique « Machine rapide ».
